REMIT

It is the abbreviation for Regulation on wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency nr 1227/2011 of 25 October 2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency.
The guidelines oblige the energy company to ensure the transparency of the operation of the electricity and natural gas markets, along with the elimination of abuses on these markets.

Obligations of the REMIT regulation

• Fulfill reporting obligation to the Centralised European Registry
• Prohibited to spreading of false or misleading information or rumors through the media
• Forbidden manipulation or attempted manipulations on wholesale Energy Markets
• Prohibited to use or publicate internal information
